Bacon Mushroom Noodle Casserole Recipe @pinch

Warm and creamy, this bacon mushroom casserole is pure comfort food. In each bite, you get little bits of bacon and hearty mushrooms. The mushrooms absorb the flavor of the bacon and add so much to this easy casserole. Serve this bacon mushroom noodle casserole with a side salad for an easy weeknight meal. It would make a nice side dish with baked chicken too. I am always in the mood for some comfort food. And for me, that includes a nice warm, creamy casserole. I made this as a play on my mom's tuna noodle casserole.

Ingredients :
  • 1 can(s) cream of mushroom soup (10.5 oz)
  • 1 1/2 cup(s) small pasta of choice
  • 3/4 can(s) milk (fill the soup can about 3/4)
  • 2-3 slice(s) American cheese
  • 1 - handful shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3-4 slice(s) bacon
  • chopped
  • 3/4 cup(s) sliced mushrooms
Intructions :
  • Preheat the oven to 350u00b0F.
  • Cook bacon in a skillet until brown and just crispy. Drain on paper towels.
  • In the same pan as the drippings
  • saute the mushrooms until soft.
  • Cook pasta according to package directions; drain.
  • In a medium saucepan
  • combine soup
  • milk
  • and cheese.
  • Add bacon and mushrooms. Stir until warmed through and the cheese is melted.
  • Add pasta.
  • Pour into a casserole dish. Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes.
