If you love hot wings, you are going to enjoy this Buffalo pasta salad. Buffalo chicken flavor permeates the pasta salad. It does have a bit of kick to it. Adjust the Buffalo sauce to suit your taste. The next time we make this we may double the dressing. The pasta soaks up the dressing a bit and we like our pasta salads super creamy. Pick up a rotisserie chicken and this can be made in a snap. As everyone has a different taste, you can change this up and use blue cheese dressing instead of the ranch. You can vary the amount of hot sauce and dressing based on your preference. I usually add more hot sauce, we LIKE it hot! You can also use canned chicken, rotisserie chicken whatever is easier. However, I believe that shredded is best. Might also like to top it with some crumbled blue cheese!
Ingredients :
- 1 package(s) Barilla Plus multi-grain rotelli or farfalle
- 2 - carrots, shredded
- 2 stalk(s) celery, chopped
- 2 - shallots, finely chopped
- 1/3 cup(s) Franks Buffalo sauce
- 2/3 cup(s) your favorite light ranch dressing
- 2 cup(s) shredded chicken (I use baked tenders)
Intructions :
- Cook pasta as instructed
- Meanwhile, chop your vegetables. Combine hot sauce with dressing in a bowl
- Once pasta is cooked and drained, toss with dressing and mix. Then add vegetables and chicken
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate until chilled.
