These caramel coconut marshmallows are a sweet and salty treat for all ages! Gooey and satisfying, it's a sweet and chewy clout of nutty caramel bliss. We used to have a treat like this at our candy store. It was a large square marshmallow dipped in caramel and rolled in coconut.

Ingredients :
- 28 - caramels (about 8 oz)
- 1/4 cup(s) butter or margarine
- 2 tablespoon(s) half and half or milk
- 1 1/2 cup(s) confectioners' sugar
- sifted
- 1 cup(s) salted peanuts
- 2 cup(s) miniature marshmallows
- 1 cup(s) flaked coconut
Intructions :
- In a 2-quart glass measure
- place caramels
- butter
- and half and half.
- Cook on high for 5 minutes in the microwave.
- Stir after 3 minutes. Cook until melted and smooth.
- Stir in sugar until smooth.
- Add peanuts.
- Stir in marshmallows just until lightly coated.
- The mixture will be cool enough to shape the caramel mixture into balls. Roll in coconut until well coated.
- Store in a covered container.
