- CARMEL GLAZE
- 20 - caramels

Intructions :
- Combine flour
- sugar
- spices
- baking soda
- and salt in a mixing bowl.
- Stir in applesauce
- sour cream
- oil
- and lemon juice.
- Pour into muffin pans fitted with paper liners.
- Bake for 20 minutes in a preheated oven of 350 F.
- Let cool completely on a wire rack.
- To make the caramel glaze
- melt unwrapped caramels and milk in a saucepan over low heat; stirring constantly until just melted. Spread the caramel glaze over the tops.
- Insert sticks upright in the center of each.
- Garnish the rim of each cake with nuts for the caramel apple dipped in nuts look.
- To make them more festive
