Um, yum! These little appetizers are a self-contained ball of delight! A terrific dish for passing at any party. Inside the crescent dough is a mixture of mushrooms, jalapenos, chorizo sausage, and cream cheese. Once baked, as you bite through the crescent dough, the center is creamy. We opted to drizzle a little hot sauce on top, but salsa would be delicious too. These poppers make a great dish for snacking while watching the game on tv or at tailgate parties. They have just a little bite to be so good and dipped in sour cream or serve with a bowl of salsa. I was experimenting for our annual Halloween party, but do think they can be used most anytime.
