Ingredients :
  • 1 pound(s) loaf of cinnamon raisin bread or any other bread your choice
  • 1 package(s) cream cheese (8 oz)
  • 8 large eggs
  • 2 cup(s) half and half
  • 1/2 cup(s) granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup(s) maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoon(s) vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon(s) ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon(s) ground nutmeg (optional) i love the flavor
Intructions :
  • Cube the cinnamon raisin bread
  • Place 1/2 of the bread cubes in a greased 9 x 13 dish
  • Top with cream cheese
  • Then top with the remaining bread
  • In a large bowl combine the remaining ingredients
  • Pour over the top of the bread mixture
  • Cover and refrigerate overnight
  • In the morning, remove it from the fridge and allow it to stand for 30 mins. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake covered for 30 minutes until a knife inserted comes out clean
  • Dust with powdered sugar
  • Warm syrup in a pan over low heat or in the microwave. Drizzle onto each serving.
