Simple, easy, and delicious are a few words to describe these sausage cups. These biscuit crusts have a savory sausage and creamy Cheese Whiz topping. This recipe makes a good number of biscuits, so It is perfect for a crowd. Plus, they are a budget havefriendly appetizer. Super yummy, everyone will be coming back for more. My coworker, Sara, brings these to work occasionally and they are almost gone before she sets the platter down. Great breakfast fare but equally good throughout the day.

Ingredients :
  • 1 package(s) mild sausage (we use jimmy dean)
  • 1 package(s) hot sausage (Jimmy Dean)
  • 1 jar(s) Cheese Whiz
  • 4 can(s) Hungry Jack golden layer biscuits
  • - vegetable spray
Intructions :
  • Preheat the oven according to biscuit directions. Brown sausage together and drain well
  • Mix in Cheese Whiz and stir until melted
  • Spray muffin tins. Split each biscuit in half (if using mini muffin tins, split the biscuit into thirds)
  • Press down into greased muffin cups. Spoon the sausage mixture into each cup
  • Bake for 5-10 minutes until golden
  • You can also drain a can of Rotel tomatoes and add them to the sausage mixture for a slightly spicier sausage cup.
