Ingredients :
- 4 pound(s) potatoes, baked then mashed
- 1 1/2 cup(s) minced shallots
- 3 cup(s) shredded white cheddar, divided
- 3 cup(s) sour cream
- 1 tablespoon(s) salt (more or less to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) ground white pepper
Intructions :
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large bowl, mix the potatoes, shallots, and cheese until well combined. Season with salt and pepper. Fold in the sour cream one cup at a time
- Oil a large baking dish (13 X 9 or larger pan will do) very well. Place the potato mixture in the pan and sprinkle the top with the reserved cheddar cheese
- Bake for 25 minutes until hot and lightly browned.
