Spicy Apple Baked Beans Recipe @pinch

Who knew that sausage and apples in baked beans would be so good?! The spicy/sweet combination in this recipe is divine. Chunks of apple are a tasty surprise and pair well with the sausage. There's only a hint of the nutmeg... it leaves your taste buds wondering what's that spice. This hearty side dish will be the perfect addition to your BBQ when you want to serve an untraditional baked beans recipe. One of my three teenage sons loves all things apple. He's not a big bean fan though. The other two sons love baked beans. With this yummy twist on baked beans, I satisfied all three of them. However, my husband was the one who raved the most. It's a hit at our house and wherever I take it.
