Strawberry Cream Cheese Pie Recipe @pinch

Sweet, fresh, and satisfying, this strawberry cream cheese pie will be perfect for any summer event. A traditional flaky pie crust is the base. The bottom layer is similar to a no-bake cheesecake that's thick and creamy. Then the top is similar to an old-fashioned strawberry pie with sweet strawberry gelatin holding in fresh strawberries. We topped ours with a little whipped cream, but it's delish without it. This strawberry cream cheese pie is a hit with everyone. Great summer dessert. :)

Ingredients :
  • 2 - deep dish pie crust
  • baked & cooled
  • CREAM CHEESE FILLING
  • 1 package(s) cream cheese
  • softened
  • 8 oz.
  • 1 can(s) sweetened condensed milk
  • 14 oz.
  • 1/3 cup(s) real lemon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla
  • STRAWBERRY GLAZE
  • 1 cup(s) sugar
  • 1/4 cup(s) all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cup(s) water
  • 1 box(es) strawberry Jell-o
  • small
  • 3 oz.
  • 3 cup(s) fresh sliced strawberries
Intructions :
  • THIS RECIPE MAKES TWO PIES: Prepare pie crust according to package directions. Cool.
  • Mix cream cheese
  • sweetened condensed milk
  • real lemon juice
  • and vanilla. Beat well. Refrigerate.
  • In a small saucepan
  • mix sugar and flour.
  • Slowly add water to dissolve sugar and flour. Bring to a boil and cook until the mixture looks almost clear.
  • Remove from heat and add the box of strawberry Jell-o. Allow to cool slightly before pouring over strawberries.
  • Divide cream cheese mixture between two pie crusts.
  • Top with sliced fresh strawberries.
  • Pour cooled strawberry glaze to cover berries. Refrigerate until set.
  • Serve with or without Cool Whip.
