Sweet & Fluffy Dinner Rolls Recipe @pinch

Ingredients :
  • 1/2 cup(s) milk
  • 1/2 C cup(s) granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1/4 cup(s) butter
  • 1/2 cup(s) warm water (105-115 degrees)
  • 2 package(s) dry yeast
  • 2 large eggs
  • beaten
  • 4 - 4 1/2 cup(s) all-purpose flour
Intructions :
  • Bring milk to a boil and remove from heat immediately. Add butter
  • salt
  • and sugar. Mix in well. Set aside to cool to lukewarm.
  • Mix warm water and yeast. Mix until yeast dissolves. Add milk mixture and beaten egg. Mix until smooth. Add half of the flour. Mix until smooth then add remaining flour.
  • Turn out on a floured surface. Knead until smooth and elastic
  • about 5 minutes.
  • Place the dough into a buttered bowl. Cover and let rise for 1 1/2 hours in a warm place. I use the microwave. It's small and there are no drafts.
  • Punch down the dough and shape it into 12 even balls. Place in a buttered baking pan. Cover and let rise an hour.
  • Bake at 375 F until nicely browned
  • about 15 minutes.
  • Brush with melted butter immediately and let rest for 5 minutes.
