Kay is right... this dish is quick and delicious. It reminds us of a hash. Spicy sausage adds a kick to the dish. If you don't like hot sausage, a mild one can easily be substituted. This recipe is a great canvas to adjust the ingredients to suit your taste buds. The fried cabbage and potatoes make this a hearty recipe. It can be a main dish or a side dish depending on what else is on the menu. Enjoy this for the new year to bring a little luck (thanks to the cabbage) or around St. Patrick's Day if you are not a corned beef and cabbage fan. This is a quick throw together main dish that is delicious.
