Dump cakes are an extremely easy and popular dessert. This caramel apple version is amazing. It is a cross between an apple fritter and pecan pie. Typically dump cakes just use a fruit filling, but this recipe includes thinly sliced apples which (along with chopped pecans) add texture to the cake. Apple juice amps up the apple flavor. Yum! I came up with this recipe to take to our family get together at Christmas this year. Feel free to tweak it anyway you want.
