Cream Cheese Mashed Potatoes Recipe @pinch

What an easy way to make mashed potatoes. The cream cheese and butter make them nice and creamy. We were a little skeptical about not adding any milk or cream, but the final result was perfect. Incorporated grated onion leaves you wondering what that hint of flavor is. You could probably substitute the grated onion with garlic or horseradish if you wanted to. When they bake, a slight toasty crust forms on top and holds in all the creamy goodness of the mashed potatoes. These will wow your family and friends! Yummmmmm!!!!

Ingredients :
  • 10 - medium potatoes, peeled and cooked
  • 1/2 cup(s) butter
  • 1 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) pepper
  • 1 tablespoon(s) grated onion
  • 1 package(s) cream cheese, 8 oz.
Intructions :
  • Peel and boil potatoes
  • Once potatoes are done, drain them and place them in a large bowl
  • Whip hot potatoes with a mixer
  • Add butter, cream cheese, grated onion, salt, and pepper to the potatoes
  • Mix well
  • Pour into a greased 13x9 pan
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
