If you like toffee candy bars, you are going to love this English toffee. It reminds us of something you can pick up at a candy shop. The toffee is crackly, gooey, crunchy, and chocolaty all wrapped up in one piece of candy. Incredibly easy to make, you'll want to make this English toffee all the time, not just at Christmas. This is my favorite candy. If you like a Heath bar, this is even better. I have had this recipe for over 20 years and have no idea where it came from. I make it nearly every year for Christmas. Here is a helpful link about candy making. http://www.exploratorium.edu/cooking/candy/sugar havestages.html
