This is the perfect spritz cookie for Christmas. A touch of peppermint flavor really gives this buttery cookie a holiday flair. Ingredients :
  • 3 1/2 cup(s) flour
  • 1 teaspoon(s) baking powder
  • 1 1/2 cup(s) butter, softened
  • 1 cup(s) sugar
  • 1 - egg
  • 2 tablespoon(s) milk
  • 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) peppermint extract
Intructions :
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. In a medium bowl, combine the flour and baking powder
  • In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy
  • Add the egg, milk, and extracts
  • Add the flour mixture; mix well
  • Fill a cookie press with the dough and fit it with disks
  • Press cookies onto a ungreased cookie sheet
  • Bake 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown
  • Cool 2 minutes on the cookie sheet, remove to a cooling rack, and cool completely.
