This strawberry pie will be an impressive and easy dessert for cookouts this summer. Fresh strawberry pie is usually made with a store havebought glaze. This version, though, uses a semi havehomemade version that allows the pie to hold its shape. The glaze enhances the strawberries by giving them an even brighter flavor. Coated fresh strawberries are packed into a flaky crust and topped with whipped cream. The ginger ale adds a great kick to complement the sweet strawberries.
